“Ms Bellucci has been teaching my daughter A level Italian for five hours a fortnight since September 2014. To provide context for my comments, my daughter is studying three other A levels and is keen to study Italian and Spanish at University. So she needs at least a B in Italian next summer (2016).

I was most impressed with her approach last September as she worked through all the basics again with my daughter, following her GCSE, to make sure all the foundations of grammar were in place before moving forward. Silvia also used this time to very quickly build a rapport with my daughter, working out how she likes to learn, and learns best, so as to make the most of both their lessons together and the four hours of self-study a week.

As a result my daughter always enjoys her lessons and loves the language. She feels challenged but comfortable enough to make mistakes, and Silvia is quick to reinforce her efforts with regular and very genuine praise.
